Our Annual Party and Awards Evening was held on Wednesday 12th December. The Trophies and certificates for the competitions last season were presented by our President, Moira Taylor LRPS.
Two particular awards are in the gift of the committee and you can see below Trevor Burton one of our Vice Presidents, receiving the Tom Bothwell Trophy from Moira. The trophy is presented for outstanding service to the club coupled with enthusiasm for photography.
The other award is the Susan Hill Cup. This is given to someone, who has been a member for no more than two years at the end of the season, for progress in photography and service to the club. This was won by Jane McGuire and you can see Jane receiving her Cup from Moira

Congratulations too to all the certificate and trophy winners and to everyone who entered the competitions with the aim of learning as well as winning.The second half of the evening was a relaxed social event before the Christmas break.
